It is with great sadness that we have learned that Jimmy Watters passed away on Tuesday.
Jimmy was a great servant to the club over many years performing a number of roles around the place. After the stand was built he looked after the maintenance and kept a keen eye on it from his house just across the park ensuring his pride and joy wasn’t vandalised.
In 2009 Jimmy was rewarded for his service with a deserved Life Membership to the club and he could be seen most home games dividing his time between watching the match and pestering the supporter club staff.
RIP Jimmy, you will be greatly missed
A minutes silence will be held before next Wednesday’s game against Vale of Leithen in memory of Jimmy.
