Bsc collected all three points in a competitive match played at K-Park, East Kilbride. The home side took the lead on 25 minutes as Tom Woods latched onto a defence splitting pass to slot past Chris Flockhart, with the first real chance of the match. The home side nearly doubled the lead just before the break as poor marking at a corner allowed a free header which was cleared off the line and the rebound was also blocked on the line. Connor Brydon nearly levelled just before half time making space to shoot just wide.
Preston came out for the 2nd half dominated possession without really creating, Scott Barclay came closest with a header. On the break Bsc again sliced open the Preston defence with a single pass and Aiden Ferris tucked home, then did exactly the same minutes later for Ferris to round Flockhart and tap home. A well worked move by Preston saw a cross fired in by David Porcher and Kenny Park was just inches away from connecting with a diving header.
Connor Brydon scored a late consolation making and taking the chance himself with a shot from the edge of the area, Indeed Preston nearly added a second in added time as keeper Craig Gordon saved well.
