Preston came out in the second half and had a chance on the hour mark to equalise but Jonny Grotlin put his chance wide. Then on 64 minutes it was 2-0 as Liam Cusack got his and Colville’s second of the match after a stramash in the goalmouth area which he was able to fire home.

Chris Inglis who came on for Craig Innes on 66 minutes and almost immediately got a goal back for Preston when he hit a sweet 25 yard dipping volley off the top of the crossbar but no-one was there to follow it up. Colville got there 3rd goal on 74 minutes when Chris Craig fired home a free-kick from 20 yards.  He got his second and Colville’s fourth on 75 minutes, firing home again from outside the box.
