Preston faced Ormiston for the 4th time this season,the second time in the league at a sun drenched Pennypit Park.


The two teams met two weeks ago in the King Cup,with the home side running out 3-2 winners after extra time.But The home side were missing Alex Dmitrov ,Michael McFarlane(suspensions)And Stevie Campbell(back injury) and had to chage the shape a little against their east Lothian rivals in this derby match.


They got the perfect start when Jamie Cochrane lobbed Reece Smail in the third minute to give the panners a dream start,and then doubled the advantage on 25 minutes through Greg Binnie Was set up by Liam McFArlane & Jack Jardine.


The game was dominated by the home team and they made it 3 on the hour mark when Jamie Cochrane got his second of the matc,set up by Greg Binnie & Macaulay Woodcock.


Both teams had chance to get more goals on the scoreboard and Scott Walker& Jonathan Grotlin came the closest for Preston,

But on 86 minutes,A controversial moment when Marc Reid and Kai Cochrane  clashed and both ended up being sent off and the game ende when midfielder Marc Law got another goal against his former employers.a minute later and this finished the scoring.


Preston  now face Coldstream in their last league game of the season this Saturday,then face either Tynecastle or Coldstream in the King Cup Semi Final On Friday !8th May.
