Chairman - Pete Hillhouse Pete`s first year as Chairman, another Hibbie who works locally in Cockenzie Power Station and is personally responsible for all the black smoke from the chimneys. Has more holidays than a BBC Travel programme presenter. "Clan Chief" of the Pans Tartan Army with over 60 caps to his name and knocks out a good 'Love Shack' on the karaoke!!! Secretary - Andrew Waddell Andrew has been associated with East of Scotland football for more than thirty years. For twenty-five of these years he was one of Scotland's top referees, officiating at 61 international / European matches as a member of UEFA's "Elite" group of top officials. Was 'persuaded' by Tommy to join Preston as secretary in 2003 and has worked on 2 league bids in that time. When not involved with Preston Athletic, Andrew is the Managing Director of a clinical research company in Edinburgh. Vice Chairman - Pete Barrie Pete is a man of many sports (Football, Rugby, Cricket, Hockey to name but a few) and many positions at the club (Linesman, Kit man, Match Secretary, Tea Boy, Club Doorman, Bus Convenor, peace-maker and Central Defence / Midfield if Stevie allowed it). Joined the committee a couple of years ago and is making a big impact usually on the opposition dugout. Former Standard Life employee now a Taxi Driver. Token Jambo on the committee but also confesses to be a Berwick Rangers fan. Treasurer - Graeme Barrie First year as treasurer and doing an excellent job.Keeps the lid on the biscuit tin well closed.Graeme works locally in musselburgh for an engineering company and is actively involved throughout the summer playing cricket.
Commercial Manager – John McEwan John has been in involved with EOS for 8 years, 3 Seasons with Edinburgh Athletic as Club Secretary and 3 with Leith Athletic. Played for Ormiston (Pencaitland) and Vale of Leithen under George Gillet when we got relegated after 10 nil defeat to Whitehill Welfare at Victoria Park, won the Alex Jack Cup at Pennypit how ironic. Supporter of all things lower league. Proudest moment winning the Alex jack cup. Works for Scottish Gas 7 Years. General Secretary - Paula Redpath Paula is responsible for organising referees and team kit colours for each game.Usually on the phone or laptop, liasing with other club secretaries,or printing of team lines.Always available to lend a hand ,whether it be putting up goals or dishing out stovies.Been known to enjoy a wee southern comfort.
Supporters Club Manager - Lana Hillhouse Lana enjoys the break from office work by running the bar and catering at Preston.
Supporters Club Assistant - Angela Snedden Pete's glamorous assistant in the supporters club on match days, making sure everyone is fed and watered. The main role is really to keep the rest of the committee in check. Don't ask for a freebie or refuse to help with the cleaning up or they will wipe the floor with you. The real driving force behind the club !!!!! You have been warned. General Committee - Rab Green Rab's son Sandy found fame by scoring for Preston against Threave Rovers within 3 seconds of kick off back in the 1999/2000 season and made headlines in all the Scottish papers, the guiness Book of records however didn't include this as the World's quickest goal as there was no television evidence to back up the referee's report. Works locally with Lothian Coated Fabrics and assists Alistair in the hospitality suite on match days. General Committee - John Snedden John done an excellent job as treasurer for the last 3 years, but stepped down to general committee this year due to work committments.A good head for figures ,but not for heights,as was proved during a recent trip to madrid, when john performed a double twist and half pike on an escalator and spent the rest of the day in hospital. General Committee - Ian Cunningham (Foxy) Official club photographer (although Gordon Hanratty would contest this!!) and Bingo caller at the Legion. One of the three amigos along with Tommy and Alistair who took Jamaica by storm last year. Foxy is another Hibbie who spends his time between Easter Road and the Pennypit. General Committee - Gavin Stuart Gavin has recently joined the committee after spending a good few years as a regular in the stand and the supporters bar. General Committee - Iain Brown Recently joined the committee (what has he let himself in for?!) and also looks after the website. Yet another Hibbie but is now looking forward to seeing more action and quality football at the Pennypit rather than at Easter Road. Recently discovered the p.a. system and is now resident dj at pennypit.Give it up for MC Broonie. Life Member - Jimmy Watters Was awarded life membership last year in recognition for all his assistance in various roles over the years to the club, now gets to put his feet up in the Supporters club without having to worry about doing the gate, goals or cleaning the stand. Life Member - Freddy Wood Stepped down from the committee but is still involved in the club through the Legion as main sponsors. Was Tommy's right hand man for years and part of the trio (along with Tommy and Robert McNeil) who interviewed Stevie Myatt for the manager role, when asked by Freddy what he would change in the club - Stevie replied you three!!! Matchday Helper - Declan Quinn Declan stays in Glasgow so is officially the farthest travelled Preston fan. Season ticket holder at Parkhead but spends his time at the Pennypit when Celtic are away. Has a question for just about everything!!! Claims he plays for Aston Villa boys club so Stevie better keep an eye on him as he gets older. Match Day Helper - Sean Snedden Sean helps around the club on matchdays, is the programme seller and then helps out all the players (even sneaking out the chocolate and pies to the subs when Stevie isn't looking - sorry was that to be kept secret!!!!). He was the mascot in the Scottish Cup tie at East Stirling last season. Sean is never seen without one of his many football shirts on or without a football at his feet. Is a mad Hibs supporter and has had a season ticket for Easter Road since he was 2. Still thinks Hibs will win the Scottish Cup one day.
